Coming Soon – a Satisfaction Questionnaire Guide

For a couple of months now, I’ve been working on a step-by-step guide to writing and launching your satisfaction questionnaire.

Here’s why I’ve taken on the project. For bloggers, Internet Marketers and small/medium businesses, there are plenty of gurus who admonish you to ask your customers/readers for feedback. That’s kind of like telling most of us we should get more exercise! It’s knowing how and where to get started that’s the challenge.

The Satisfaction Questionnaire Guide

When I look around, I see survey sites with sample surveys and FAQs – but little guidance on why you should ask certain questions. Or on which scales you should use for answers. And then there are lots of marketing research consultants (myself included) that can provide guidance and implementation for complex customer survey projects.

But what I couldn’t find was a single source or guide that walked me through the process – without overwhelming me – or costing a fortune.

Ideal for Small Businesses and Blogs

So, whether you have a business or a blog, this guide will take you through  a tutorial on how to set up your customer or subscriber survey using an online survey tool like SurveyMonkey.com. Start to finish – so you can get on with important tasks like growing your business or blog, offering more relevant content to your readers, and developing products or services more in tune with readers’ wants and needs. You’ll also get great feedback on the elements of your business that need improving.

The good news is my Satisfaction Questionnaire Guide will be available within the next few days! The even better news is that you still have a chance to shape its contents.

Currently, the guide includes…

  • How to clarify objectives for your survey
  • Grouping your customers or subscribers according to value
  • The 6 best questions to ask and rating scales to use
  • Sample questionnaires you can try before to see what readers/customers will see
  • Detailed step-by-step survey tutorial (with screen shots) to set up the online survey
  • The best way to handle email invitations and/or put a survey on your site
  • Five common mistakes to avoid when analyzing your data

As I put the finishing touches on the guide, you still have time to shape its contents…
